Comedy is more than just getting on stage and making people laugh – it’s about making light of day-to-day experiences. Julio’s material stems from overcoming adversity, moving from job-to-job, financial struggles, and of course navigating dating challenges!
Julio made his international comedy debut at the Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival in Los Angeles where he was 1 of 8 comedians selected for Introducing… Netflix’ platform to highlight the future stars of stand-up comedy!
He has a Don't Tell Comedy Special and has headlined Don't Tell shows in Pittsburgh, Columbus, and New York, to name a few. Julio tours U.S. theaters continuously with comedy superstar, Ralph Barbosa, where he has been opening Ralph's sold-out shows. During the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival, Julio featured on Ralph’s shows at the United Palace on Broadway in Los Angeles . You can also see Julio at clubs and theaters with fellow Latino comedian Alfred Robles. Opened for Gabriel Iglesias during The New York Comedy Festival 2024.
